I was laying in bed this morning and realized whenever Jesus spoke it happened... when He spoke healing, there was healing, When He spoke freedom, the captives were set free and relief came to the oppressed... His words have authority and power; it had it then and it has it now. Jesus opened His mouth and His word filled the atmosphere more than 2,000 years ago. These same words continue to be more than enough to heal entire generations for lifetimes to come.

Let me explain how we can apply this to our life today.

Jesus left us a gift and that gift (when we accept him) is our helper and that helper is the Holy Spirit. When He died on the cross, He left his promises for us to embrace and enjoy. One of those promises is His (The) Spoken Word. There is only one difference; we are the mouth piece today, we are the voice, if we so chose to use it.

Jesus has already given me authority and power over the evil principalities ruling in my lifetime , however, it is up to me to open my mouth and speak. Speak the Word over my life, my mind, my heart, and my soul. It is up to me to speak the word over every obstacle, circumstance, and situation. To lift up the Word of God, by speaking with authority and power (not because of who I am but because of Who Jesus Is) over what I see and cast every thought that holds itself above the true knowledge of God into the obedience of my Savior Jesus Christ.

In other words, every thought that comes to steal, kill, or destroy something or someone in my life. Those are the thoughts I cast into His obedience because they have no part of who my God is, who He has made me to be, or what my Savior has already done for me. For it is by His perfect obedience; the very obedience that carried Him to the cross to die for sin, once and for all. It is that obedience that gives me authority and power over any darkness that tries to invade my life.

The spoken word will give me peace to go through any storm. It will help me to see clearly the process of being proved by patience. It will teach me understanding and give me wisdom in my greatest trials. It will show me what love really looks like and how joy is truly found. The spoken Word is and will always be the evidence of the Holy Spirit working in my life.

But it is my choice and I must choose to release my tongue from the bondage of fear and Speak!

I declare, this day, I am NO LONGER TONGUE TIED! I release myself from the bondage of fear and I cast every thought that holds itself above the true knowledge of God into the obedience of my Savior Jesus Christ; by His Authority and Power given to me from the cross, I declare I will live a resurrected life and have all that Jesus died to give me! It is in His Name I pray Amen! Amen! Amen!
